A NOTE ABOUT KEY PARTS
Key Parts, Inc. is a developer and distributor supplying the auto body repair industry through our Dealer network. If your company is interested in becoming a distributor of our items then please contact us so that we can discuss the requirements for becoming a Dealer.
INSPECT MERCHANDISE IMMEDIATELY UPON DELIVERY
Please inspect all merchandise for damage or missing parts and make sure all parts invoiced are received BEFORE you sign for the merchandise. This provides an opportunity to note damage on the freight bill so a claim can be filed with the carrier. If anything appears to have had some rough handling, then note it on the freight bill before the driver leaves. This may be your only recourse for filing a claim for shipping damage.
RETURNS
If you purchased a Key Parts item from one of our Dealers you must return the items to the company you bought it from by coordinating directly with them. Key Parts does not accept returns on behalf of our Dealers.
ALL RETURNS REQUIRE PRE-AUTHORIZATION
If you are an authorized Key Parts Dealer, then we accept returns for items from your Stocking Orders that you purchased directly from KeyParts within the prior 30 days, subject to pre-approval. All returns are subject to restocking fees. Before returning any items you must first submit a return request form to the Key Parts sales person handling your account. We do not accept returns on items that have been altered in any way such as being cut, primed, sanded, filled or painted. Do not return an item to us until you have submitted the return request, received our approval for the return, and received a return authorization code from us for it. All return shipments must include a copy of the return merchandise request form including the unique authorization code. Return shipments that do not include the form or the authorization code will be refused by our warehouse and you will be responsible for return shipping charges. Credits will not be issued on returns received without prior approval from Key Parts.
TERMS OF SALES
Every product offered by KeyParts is intended for use only by qualified professionals; the burden for safe use in handling of our products rests entirely with the user. The user must determine suitability of a product for a particular vehicle. Key Parts is not liable for customer errors when placing an order. KeyParts Inc assumes no liability and shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or expense, either consequential or incidental, including but not limited to damage or injury to person or property, arising from or related to the use of these products. Pricing and availability is subject to change without notice at KeyParts discretion. KeyParts is not responsible for pricing errors due to clerical, proofing and printing mistakes.
Panels and sheet metal you receive may have small scratches, dings, dents and other minor imperfections, which are considered normal sheet metal characteristics due to the nature of the product. Key Parts Inc does not consider these minor imperfections as damage since they will be easily corrected during the filling, priming and sanding phase of your sheet metal installation. Many of our steel replacement parts and panels come with an EDP coating. Scratches to the EDP coating are normal and not considered damage since the EDP coating is applied to protect the item while stored before sale. EDP coating is neither a paint nor a primer and does not replace the need for primer to be applied as part of the installation process. Test fit all parts before sanding, priming, or painting them. We do not accept returns on items that have been altered in any way such as being cut, primed, sanded, filled or painted. All sheet metal panels will require some sort of manipulation during installation. If we find your part defective and it is within our 30 day return window, then we will replace the part if it is in stock, issue credit, or refund the original purchase price. Key Parts does not warranty its products beyond our 30-day return window. We are not responsible for any paint, labor or other expenses related to your use of the part. The credit or refund amount will not exceed the defective part’s original purchase price.
